Terms of Use
Last updated: [date]. These terms apply to your use of Prayer Pool, run by [Your name or company] ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to them.
1. What Prayer Pool is
A place to anonymously share short prayers and read and pray alongside others. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency help. If you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services. In the US you can call or text 988.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least [13] years old (or the minimum age in your country). Don't use the site if you've been banned from it.
3. Your prayers
- You are responsible for what you submit. You keep ownership of it.
- You give us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive license to display, store, and moderate your prayer on the site for as long as it remains in the pool.
- Prayers are public and anonymous. Don't include personal information about yourself or others.
4. Rules
Don't post anything that is hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, or encourages self-harm or violence; that contains links, advertising, or contact details; that infringes someone's rights; or that is spam. Don't try to bypass limits, filters, or security (for example by creating multiple identities or using automated tools).
5. Moderation
We use automated tools and human review. We may decline, hide, or remove any prayer at any time, for any reason, without notice. Our decisions are final, but you can contact [email] if you think we made a mistake.
6. Free and paid prayers
Each person may release one free prayer. Additional prayers cost [$X] each, charged through Stripe. Payment is for the opportunity to submit a prayer for review. A paid prayer that doesn't meet these rules may be declined; in that case you'll receive a refund. Otherwise payments are [non-refundable / refundable within X days]. Taxes may apply. Prayers stay in the pool for about [90] days, after which they are deleted.
7. Availability
The site is provided "as is". We don't guarantee it will always be available, that a prayer will be seen by any particular number of people, or that it will remain in the pool for any specific time.
8. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content posted by users. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or [$100] if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Reporting
Use the Report button on any prayer, or email [email]. We will review reports promptly.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [state/country], and disputes will be handled in the courts of [location], unless local law says otherwise.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept them.
